Water the plants
Overwatering and underwatering are both “I’ll do it later.” A weekly text is a boring system that works for most houseplants.
Weekly is enough for many plants
If a plant needs something different, say so in the message (“snake plant: skip if soil is wet”). One reminder can cover a whole shelf if the cadence matches.
Snooze when you travel
Snooze from the text if you are away. Complete it if you gave the plants away. The free plan is one active reminder — usually plenty for plants.
